ECE-R94 (Frontal Impact) and ECE-R95 (Side Impact) regulations

The ECE regulations are defined by the UNECE organisation. The ECE-R94 regulation is defined as UNIFORM PROVISIONS CONCERNING THE APPROVAL OF VEHICLES WITH REGARD TO THE PROTECTION OF THE OCCUPANTS IN THE EVENT OF A FRONTAL COLLISION. FMVSS-208 (Occupant crash protection) and FMVSS-214 (Side impact protection) regulations

The FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehical Safety Standards and Regulations has defined the FMVSS-208 for frontal impact and the FMVSS-214 for side impact. The regulations can be found in: http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/ , title 49 - Transportation, Part 571 - Federal Motor Vehicles Safety Standards (FMVSS). From there the protocol can be selected.

IIHS-Frontal and IIHS-Side regulations
